We are supporting the CRT Initiative!

With the changes in Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance providers in the last few years, access to products and services for people with disabilities is getting more and more difficult.  This poses a great threat and will limit independence and quality of life for many individuals who are in need.  Now is the time to spread the word, educate, and support the Proposal to Create A Separate Benefit Category for Complex Rehab Technology (CRT).  Seating Solutions is currently working with CRT Committee to help them gain support from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).  We encourage more OT’s and PT’s to get involved.  The CRT initiative affects all therapists and healthcare providers alike, not just those who work in a wheelchair clinic.  To learn more about the CRT Initiative under Medicare, please log on to www.nrrts.org.  Or log on to Rehab Management Magazine website for the latest article:  http://www.rehabpub.com/issues/articles/2010-09_05.asp
