Action is needed by all OTs and COTAs nationally!

March 27th is the deadline!
If you know any OTs or COTAs (OT assistants), please pass this message on!
This is directly related to wheelchair mobility and seating, and all complex rehab technology. If OTs do not provide feedback on these two motions, and they are not passed, our specialty field as OTs will continue to be “in the dark”.
The feedback to the RA (your AOTA Congress) will be taken into consideration and let AOTA know that there is a need for change nationally. If OTs and COTAs do not speak-up, we cannot facilitate change and raise the bar to higher education and specialized practice standards for complex rehab technology and related OT services within our own organization.

- Two motions (named # 5 and 6 by AOTA) were submitted AOTA this past fall and will be voted on by AOTA’s Representative Assembly (RA) on April 14th, 2011 during our national conference in Philly.
